The first 100 machines were placed in 30 cities across Poland in 2009. The network of Parcel Lockers has been growing dynamically ever since. Currently, the Polish market has more than 3,700 of those. Since the beginning of 2018, 700 machines has already been activated and their number is expected to reach 4,500 by the end of the year.

Parcel Lockers solve the problem of the last mile, namely the last and most expensive stage of delivering the shipment to its recipient. Parcel Lockers delivery can be approx. 30% cheaper than traditional courier services. Parcel Lockers are more efficient (the supplier delivers ten times more packages in the same amount of time than a courier) and more ecological.

The success of Parcel Lockers among e-stores was also influenced by the speed of deliveries - approx. 98% of packages are delivered on the next day after their shipment. Currently, more than half of all e-commerce Customers declare that the possibility of Parcel Lockers delivery motivates them to shop in a given store.

In 2015, company services were expanded to include courier services, i.e. InPost Courier. The new offer was introduced in response to a growing market demand and increasingly dynamic growth of e-commerce industry. This step proved successful. According to the Gemius 2018 report*, InPost Courier maintains a high third place in terms of the most willingly selected courier services in Poland.

Among courier services, domestic servicing proves the most popular. The service is available for packages weighing up to 50 kg and the expected time of delivery is D+1.
