InPost comes first in the world
InPost, forming part of Integer.pl Group, the largest independent postal operator in Poland, has won the international World Mail Awards 2010 contest. The company was chosen an outright winner in the Growth category. Leaving the competitors far behind, InPost gained the jury’s recognition for its dynamic development on the Polish postal market. The 11th World Mail Awards 2010 Gala took place on 15th June in Copenhagen.
World Mail Awards contest has been organized since 1999. It seeks to honour the best postal and technological providers from the whole world, which stand out for the excellent quality of their services. The organisers received more than 100 applications from over 50 companies from 32 countries during this year’s edition. 38 finalists from 22 countries were nominated in such categories as Growth, Quality, Corporate Social Responsibility, Technology or E-commerce Services. The winners received their awards on 15th June 2010 in Copenhagen, just a day before the international World Mail & Express Europe Conference, held on 16th and 17th June.
Rafal Brzoska, the President of the Board of Directors of InPost Nowoczesna Poczta said “It is the first such an important, international distinction in the history of InPost. We are even more pleased because we are the only Polish company which has been noticed and valued so high by the world-class experts in postal industry. Development through innovation proved to be the right path for InPost, which was confirmed by the victory in the Growth category. Prestigious and significant awards, such as World Mail Award undoubtedly, are extremely binding. Because of this there are months of intensive efforts ahead of us, which will hopefully bring new ideas as well as novel implementations of IT and technological solutions, which haven’t been used in postal and financial industries so far. Paczkomaty 24/7 parcel machines, mobile payment, multi-operator e-invoicing or hybrid mail are the key projects which create InPost’s image as a modern postal operator with a high potential of growth. We are also glad to be able to share our experiences during this year’s World Mail & Express Europe conference held in Copenhagen."
In 2010, World Mail & Express Europe focused on the postal services market in the context of constantly changing economic conditions and a rapid development of technology. The representatives of postal and courier companies from all over the world took part in the conference. During the event Rafal Brzoska, the President of the Board of Director of InPost gave a talk entitled “The use of alternative postal operators in the e-world”.
Good results of the companies of Integer.pl Group result from a flexible approach to business and prompt and bold decisions based on changing market conditions. Thanks to the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies and the solutions which are unique on the Polish market, the Group successfully improves the image of the Polish postal-courier industry. Intense business activity and good financial results will form the basis of a dynamic growth in the company’s value within the next few years.
