InPost Finanse has been awarded the contract worth PLN 1.3 million for KRUS (Agricultural Social Insurance Fund) in Łódź

InPost Finanse - an independent financial operator of nationwide range, a part of Group, according to the business strategy geared towards gaining new strategic clients, has signed a one - year contract with KRUS in Łódź. The agreement covers the delivery of cash benefits within the voivodship and at the same time it is a continuation of current successful cooperation between the institution and the operator. The estimated contract value is PLN 1.3 million.

InPost Finanse has been cooperating with KRUS branch in Łódź since June 2010. The new agreement extends almost three times the existing cooperation. From 1 July 2011, the company intends to pursue nearly 30 000 cash benefits for KRUS in Łódź on the area of the voivodship, including rural localities – due to the nature of the contract.

Rafał Brzoska, InPost Finanse CEO, summarizes the decision of contract winning: "the fact that independent companies such as InPost Finanse win the tenders for financial service of public sector institutions proves that some positive changes slowly occur in the market. And it is not the question of systemic issues or some legal solutions , but a growing awareness of the financial services alternative offer among institutions and individual clients. Just like InPost Nowoczesna Poczta changes the Polish mentality in the scope of postal market, InPost Finanse tries to prove that Poczta Polska is no longer the only company with the exclusive right to pursue cash benefits. We expect the number of InPost Finase institutional clients will increase soon thanks to our attractive product and pricing offer. Currently, 45 000 individual clients are using the mobile payment option, and launching of e-invoicing system resulted in acquiring another 100 000 InPost Finanse customers."

InPost Finanse also cooperates with Regional Police headquarters, and City Social Services Centre and City Family Support Centre in Łódź, Warsaw and Olsztyn. The Cracow branch of KRUS is also the company’s client. Those new contracts with public sector organizations gives PLN 4 million year-on year revenue increase.

InPost Finanse notices steady increase in the number of customers using its services. The level of transfers carried out via inPost Finanse increased in 2010 by 30% compared to 2009. Therefore, it may be assumed that more and more people who have used other financial operators, including Poczta Polska, currently prefers to use services offered by InPost Finanse at Customer Office Points.

The key project implemented in 2010 by InPost Finanse was – according to an idea of implementation of innovative solutions in the scope of electronic financial products – launching of multi-operator e-invoicing and mobile payments.
