The World Mail Awards have been presented since 1999. They seek to honour the best postal and technological providers from the whole world, which stand out for the excellent quality of their services. The organisers received more than 100 applications from over 50 companies from 32 countries during this year’s edition. 38 finalists from 22 countries were nominated in such categories as Growth, Quality, Corporate Social Responsibility, Technology or E-commerce Services. The winners will receive their awards during a glittering Gala Dinner on 15th June 2010 in Copenhagen, just a day before the international World Mail & Express Europe Conference, scheduled for 16th and 17th June, begins.

Rafal Brzoska, the President of the Board of Directors of InPost Nowoczesna Poczta said “The nomination in such a prestigious international competition proves that we have chosen the right path of development. We have also been recognised in the E-commerce category, which further proves that the hi-tech services implemented by InPost are highly valued both home and abroad. Paczkomaty 24/7 machines, mobile payment, e-invoicing and hybrid mail are the key projects creating the image of InPost as an innovative postal operator. I am looking forward to this year’s World Mail & Express Europe Conference, during which we will have the chance to present our newest services, which are the response to the continuously evolving postal market.”

The 2010 World Mail & Express Europe conference is going to focus on the postal market in the times of the ever changing economic conditions and the dynamic technological progress. The representatives of postal and courier providers from all over the world are going to participate in it. Rafal Brzoska, the President of the Board of Directors of InPost has been asked to give a lecture entitled “The use of alternative postal operators: a case study”.

InPost takes an active part in industry conferences and debates organised in Poland and outside of it. In March 2010, during the European Postal Services Conference in Brussels, Rafal Brzoska, the president of the company, gave a talk entitled “Increasing the speed and decreasing the costs of parcel delivery”.
