  Group enters the insurance market!


    InPost Customer Service Points start selling LINK4 insurance policies

  Group, the company which has been successfully competing on the postal and courier market, as well as dynamically extending its influence in the financial services for many years, initiates its activities in the insurance sector. Therefore, Group in cooperation with LINK4, the pioneer and leader in direct insurances in Poland, has started selling insurance products at the InPost Customer Service Points located throughout the country. The Independent operator assumes that over the next three years it shall become a major player in the life insurance business, which may reach a level of PLN 38.9 billion in 2014, with the prospect of an increase of 70% over the next five years.


    InPost Finanse, an independent provider of financial and insurance services diversifies its activities addressed to individual customers, based on the multimillion customer base and the compatibility of insurance and financial services.

    An agency agreement including the sale of LINK4 car insurance shall be implemented in at least 100 InPost Customer Service Points, at the beginning of 2013, with the view to expand the geographical scope of activity by another 100 branch offices by the end of the year. Furthermore, InPost and LINK4 cooperation will be extended to the delivery of money transfers. There are also some plans to introduce the sale of home insurance.

Currently, LINK4 insurances are available over the phone and Internet, but also at the agents, brokers, banks, retail chains and InPost branch offices (since 2013). We can see a great development potential in this area, mainly due to the InPost business potential and the availability of InPost branch offices”,added Łukasz Jantz, External Distribution Channels Director.


    The electronic financial products such as multi-operator e-invoice and mobile payments (since 2010) are the flagship service of InPost Finanse. Currently, about 100,000 individual customers use the mobile payments service, hence it has already reached its break-even point, and the implementation of the e-invoice service system has led to the acquisition of another 250 thousand customers.


    Moreover, since November 2012, InPost Finanse has started a cooperation with Western Union, a global leader in international money transfers. Upon the agreement it is possible to send and receive money transfers at 100 InPost Customer Service Points. The company also offers a comprehensive range of Western Union money services.
