In 2018, Advent International and InPost will invest PLN 250 million in the infrastructure of parcel lockers and the development of courier services. The company has a network of more than 3,500 parcel lockers all over Poland and another 1,000 are going to be built by the end of the year. In the period from January – May 2018 InPost delivered 30 million shipments - a year-on-year increase of 42.2% – in this Paczkomaty noted an increase by 41.2%, and InPost Courier by 43.4%.

"InPost obtains the best results compared to the competition in terms of the examined aspects of the brand image. At the opposite side, there are Pocztex and Poczta Polska with the worst results. Internet users appreciate innovativeness of our network, the introduction of new solutions, the attractiveness and flexibility of the offer, as well as the simplicity and convenience of using our services. They also draw attention to the affordable price of the offer and the dynamic growth of the courier network and parcel lockers" – said Rafał Brzoska.

In 2017 InPost delivered:

  • 60 million packages

  • 51% an increase in the volume of deliveries to InPost parcel lockers year-on-year

  • During the peak of the Christmas season, the increases in the volumes of deliveries to parcels lockers amounted to 67%, and courier deliveries reached a record 94.5% amounting to 10 million pieces in total

"The American owner of InPost supports the introduction of further innovations and technological development – which is necessary to grow faster than the dynamic e-commerce sector. We estimate that in 2018, Polish e-commerce will increase to PLN 47 billion, which means 18% more than in 2017. InPost is not only the largest and the most effective parcels and courier delivery network – but, above all, a high standard of service. We have advanced IT technologies that speed up the delivery of shipments, and our couriers have modern devices such as GPS, scanners or tablets. Thanks to high effectiveness we can dynamically increase the operated volumes – in 2017 we recorded an increase of over 50% in both segments of activity" – added Rafał Brzoska.
