    On 27 January 2010, in Wroclaw, - during the debate on the condition of e-commerce market - launched the implementation of the service Paczkomaty 24 / 7 (Automated Parcel Machines 24/7) in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Residents of the region can now send and receive packages using 35 automated parcel machines. The meeting was attended by representatives of electronic commerce and consultants in the field of e-business. The project of launching the innovative service is co-funded from the Regional Operational Program of Lower Silesia in 2007-2013. Detailed information about the solution is available at

    A panel discussion on the barriers and opportunities for the development of e-commerce in Poland, was attended by: Mr Piotr Jarosz – a site editor of, a consultant of e-business - Mr Tomasz Karwatka from IdeactoMs Anna Marynowska - a manager of service and CEO of - Mr Rafał Brzoska.

    By the implementing of the service in Lower Silesia Voivodeship, customers can now send and receive packages using 35 automated parcel machines located in 11 cities. plans to launch 75  automated parcel machines in south-western part of Poland.

    The development of Paczkomaty 24/7 is co-financed by EU funds. So far Group has gained the grant of about 60 million PLN, including 4.4 million PLN for the implementation of the service in Lower Silesia Voivodeship. The total cost of launching innovative solutions in the whole country will come to 150 million PLN till the end of 2011.

    A main reason to launch the innovative service for e-commerce by  is a dynamic growth of e-commerce sector in  Poland. According to the Polish Direct Marketing Association its value comes to 11.01 billion PLN in 2008 (an increase of 36.4% compared with the previous year), and it is 13-13,2 billion PLN1 in 2009. In December 2009 the number of registered online shops on the website exceeded 6.5 thousand and was higher by more than 40% in comparison to 2008 2.
